Why did you start Blonde Army?
Being an on-off working actress I wanted another project I was passionate about and inspired by. I have a fascination with people and relationships and having worked in the events industry for 9 years I wanted to branch off and start my own kind of events.
I specialise in weddings and celebrations for couples who live fearlessly yet simply; bold yet modest. I think this encompasses my outlook on life and therefore my business spirit.
I want to relate to people and whether thats through the theatre performing in a play or by helping couples plan their big day, I want them to realise and achieve whatever they’ve always wanted. In a nutshell, be authentic and true to yourself.
Describe Blonde Army’s style?
Style to me is timeless and personal. Effortless and confident. I absolutely believe less is more and that the subtlest of detail can speak volumes. I take inspiration from art, fashion and travel and of course people. People inspire me daily.
What’s the best bit about your job?
Excuse the cliche but…everything! The wedding industry especially is so open and collaborative and this really resonates with me. I feel so alive and inspired by everyone I come across. To be able to be creative, practical, intelligent and playful all in a day is pretty cool. Yes it’s a lot of hard work and sometimes tedious – but thats the rollercoaster of life. Without the lows you don’t experience the highs. It’s an ever changing industry too so I’m constantly learning which I find so enriching. I also love that I’m helping people. Be that creating their perfect day or inspiring them to achieve other things in their lives. Oh and I love a good party – I have a true party soul so I’m fully happy helping others awaken theirs and live how they dance.

What don’t we know about Lianne?
Well, if you look up ‘Virgo’ in the dictionary you’ll find me! I’m a typical virgo – perfectionist, ambitious and fiercely loyal. I grew up in Kendal in the Lake District famous for it’s stunning landscape and kendal mint cake. #sugarrush. I now live in South London with my very patient, very understanding boyfriend. I travelled south east Asia with said boyfriend for 3 months which was just magical and gave me a lot of perspective on life. My favourite film is ‘Pretty Woman’ – Vivienne is badass. I love and live in monochrome and shades of grey. I have a weakness for crisps and dip and am a list-making addict!
