A contemporary hire collection to inspire modern event design
What is the collection?
The Collection is an inventory of contemporary hire items and styling props that help you create simple yet striking settings to celebrate and create amazing memories with your loved ones. Whether you’re planning a wedding, party or brand event, our hire props create visual impact to wow your guests. The items in the collection are of quality and everything in the catalogue I would happily have in my own home.
What can we expect in the collection?
From custom made backdrops to artisan made bamboo lanterns, I am so excited to share the beginnings of a very exciting collection. There certainly will be more to come….
You’ll mainly find clean and neutral colours that can then be styled and brought to life with the help of your florist, stationery, linen etc. You can completely add your own personality and build your vision. The styling options are endless.
All our items come from quality suppliers as I want to ensure high standards. Some have been hand-made and I am delighted to have supported other small businesses in their craft. I want you and your guests to feel the thought and quality that has gone into making some of the items. That extra care, that extra detail so it feels all the more special. When you can feel the thought and detail surrounding you, that’s luxury.
What inspired you to launch the collection?
When styling both editorials and weddings, I quickly realised I struggled to locate certain items to achieve a desired look and feel. I felt there was a gap in the market and I wanted to fill it.
At Blonde Army, I am definitely all about the atmosphere rather than tradition, and so I don’t necessarily design with ‘weddings’ in mind but more of a stylish, sophisticated party hosted by the couple. I want to offer something fresh to the wedding and events industry that I feel there is a need for but not yet offered. Weddings and events are more and more influenced by fashion, travel and interiors and so I aim to reflect this in the collection.
I’ve taken inspiration from Scandinavian design and lifestyle and the Australian wedding scene. The collection is an extension of the style ethos I promote here at Blonde Army. Keeping things clean and simple but adding that something extra. Modern and chic, but with an edge. Offering pieces that make a statement in their own right they don’t need much to make an impact.
What ‘style’ is the collection?
I guess the style of the collection is everything Blonde Army is about. Modern, trend-setting, style-focused, fashion-inspired, chic, elegant, sophisticated but with a playful edge and totally flexible to suit personal taste.
All the pieces suit all settings from barns, warehouses to marquees and stately homes. The possibilities are endless and I am so excited to work with our couples to see what we create.

Additional Services
A style service is now available exclusively when you book items from the hire collection. An extremely helpful upgrade for anyone with a completely dry hire venue but have a venue coordinator included and need that extra assurance everything will be styled perfectly. What’s next for the collection
The collection will continue to grow and be added to throughout the year so be sure to keep checking back for updates on our website and instagram. I am very keen to hear your feedback and if there is something you are currently struggling to locate then please let me know. It may be I am thinking of adding it soon or I may be very happy to add it to the collection as long as it fits with the Blonde Army style and ethos.
A note on sustainability
As well having an impact at your wedding or event, I am also increasingly conscious about reducing the impact the events industry has on our environment.
By offering hire items, Blonde Army can save you time and money from buying it yourself. The time and effort of reselling items. The space for storing the items. And also the travel costs and emissions for numerous deliveries. Our items are reused and so hopefully reduce the amount of waste and excessiveness often associated with the wedding & events world.
Our materials where possible are hand dyed. We are working on making all our acrylic items recyclable. We re-use our signage. We re-use our packaging.
